I was leaving an appointment and needed to grab some lunch. I noticed a familiar sandwich shop and headed over. The Taqueria was right next door & that seemed like a much better idea. I was a bit concerned about timing as I needed to get back but hangry outweighed logic at that point. I am so happy I took a chance! First - the service was amazing. I was trying to quickly look over the menu but the young lady being the counter told me to take my time & let her know when I was ready. Already off to a great start. I placed my order, asking a question about one of the meat options & she was very thorough and helpful with information. I think it took me longer to decide & order than it did to get my food! When I got home (maybe 10 minutes?) the food was still hot and looked amazing! The portions were very large and everything was packed so nicely, there wasn't a tomato out of place. 10/10 recommend anything with chicken or carne asada, my personal favorite was the tostadas. They were huge and packed with amazing. A double shell kept everything together perfectly. They have a hilarious (though sadly, probably needed) sign about being patient with the staff as they serve many functions throughout the restaurant. Please don't be the jerk that makes these signs necessary, I'd like to keep coming back.
I ordered the super steak burrito with refried beans & extra sour cream. It was really good. Its honestly the best Mexican food I've had since I moved out here. They are open late so thats also a plus. The plaza is pretty much vacant and really dark at night so its easy to miss them but I'll definitely be back.
Hidden gem. Their tripas was so good. Chile relleno was good and micheladas we're on point. Definitely coming back.
Absolutely love their pastor meat. Their burritos are good size and you get free refills on chips salsa and aguas frescas.
I ordered for delivery. First time trying this place. Got a super burritos de carne asada and 3 tacos de carnitas. Both were so good. Carnitas were fresh and tasty. My husband had the burrito which he enjoyed and is a picky eater. I'd return for sure.
Haven't been here in awhile because of the pandemic, but thought I would see if they are still there. They are and the food is still as wondering as ever. Ordered 2 super quesadillas, tasted great and very filling, my son ate his and I ate half and saved half for later. Very generous portion which included salsa, guacamole (very tasty), sour cream and chopped onion, tomato, cilantro mix on the side with a small bag of chips. Great little hidden gem of a restaurant!
